The Barter Market made its virgin Night Festival appearance at Objectifs with a photography and film themed market where vendors and the public traded without the use of money. The event saw vendors trading prints centred on photography, an experimental film and music performance by artist Jun Han, live music by Iris Judotter, a cosy set up by our collaborators Reelak as well as our lovely fnb vendors trading sng bao and bottled beers. All local, all trades, all love.
A huge thanks to our lovely collaborators and the wonderful people of Objectifs for hosting us!

The Barter Market is a collective effort between local makers, craftsmen, artists, musicians and skilled individuals in the community. Our social initiative explores a minute scenario where money has been taken out of transactions and attendees and vendors exchange their goods/ services.
Made for the community, the Barter Market seeks to encourage a more human bonding experience as well as a possibility of an organically progressive society.
Different stalls will be set up along the alley during the festival, with each vendor offering their goods. A list of items they are seeking will also be stated on the event page (FB) and on the vendors individual websites prior to the event, as well as set up and displayed on their tables on the event day itself.
Objectifs and INDIGOISM come together for this edition of Barter Market at Night Festival 2016, a mish-mash of homegrown pride sharing love for the community and good vibes all around. This edition of the Barter Market is supported by Objectifs and Reelak.
